der klimaforscher stefan rahmsdorf hat telepolis in einem interview verraten, warum der aktuelle emmerich-film unrealistisch aber nützlich ist, wie hoch die wahrscheinlichkeit eines versiegens des golfstroms ist und wie die welt in 100 jahren aussehen könnte. äußerst lesenswert!

the folks at google, stopdesign and adaptive path have relaunched the site and brushed up the corporate identity of blogger.com, the popular weblog service initially developed by pyra software and taken over by google a year ago. check out the background story at the stopdesign blog or read blogger’s official statement. all those rounded corners will probably be visually worn out soon already but alltogether very good work indeed!

back from a sailing week in croatia i stumbled across a tutorial in google employee jason shellen’s blog, “it’s time for a mac-over!“. might ease the time until i eventually opt for an apple powerbook.. even folks at microsoft in redmond love the mac-os-x-like feeling, as adalbert reports (labelling them “hightech schizophrenics”).
